About Oud Conynsbergh
In 2011, a group a friends decided to start a vineyard in Boechout. The first vignes were planted in 2014. Their plan was initially received with scepticism, but nowadays Winery Oud Conynsbergh proofs that promising wines can also be made in Antwerp.
The 'table of 8'
With the foundation of Wijndomein Oud Conynsbergh, the dream of 8 friends from Boechout is fulfilled. It started with an ambitious plan. They educated themselves and were not discouraged by any opposition. The friends followed an education in viticulture and created a brand new wine estate.
The eight friends take care of the vineyards and put their heart and soul into this project. In this way they want to bring new life into the wine history of Boechout and Vremde. After all, there were already vines here during the 16th century.
Achter de schermen
In 2021 werd ons domein tijdens alle seizoen gevolgd in de wijngaard en de kelder. Een volledig jaar bij Oud Conynsbergh, van snoei tot botteling. Dit is het resultaat: 'Oud Conynsbergh tussen veld en parel'.
